Voices JH Executive Director Transition
With full hearts and deep gratitude, the Board of Voices JH shares that Executive Director, Alin Yuriko Badillo Carrillo, is stepping down effective June 19, 2026.
Over the last four years, Alin has served as a Voices JH volunteer, as the organization’s Director of Partnerships and Programs, Director of Multicultural Leadership and, since 2024, as the Executive Director. Alin’s deep knowledge of the community, having moved to Jackson as a child, along with earning bachelor’s and master’s degrees, informed how she set the groundwork for the development and growth of the organization’s signature programs.

These programs include Outreach, providing personalized, first-language information sharing and resource navigation; Involvement, developing forums to capture immigrant and multicultural community feedback to inform civic projects and policies; and Development, supporting the personal and professional development of multicultural community members. Today, Voices JH’s network reaches over 2,000 community members and 750 households– informing, empowering and serving as a trusted source of support and belonging.
The last two years have been a time of increasing uncertainty for the immigrant and multicultural community. After leading Voices JH for two years, Alin has made the courageous decision to step back and take care of herself.
“I am proud of what we built together through Voices JH and honored to have led the organization as Executive Director,” said Alin. “Rest is not giving up. It is how I take care of and refresh myself to pursue my next journey in supporting our community.”
As Alin steps down, Isabel Zumel steps in as Interim Executive Director. Isabel knows the Jackson Hole community well, having held management and leadership positions at Teton County Library and One22 Resource Center, and formerly serving as Board Chair of Voices JH. Her behind-the-scenes work in support of the immigrant community includes projects that helped inspire the formation of Voices JH.

"Alin built programs, systems, and a culture rooted in the belief that our community members are our best leaders. Her time at Voices JH represents exactly what this organization stands for. We are deeply grateful for her leadership,” said Adrian Croke, Voices JH Board Chair. “Isabel steps in with the full confidence of the board and the deep familiarity of someone who has been part of this organization's story from the beginning."
The Board will share more about long-term leadership plans as they develop.
